2026-2027 New Heads Program

ISAS is partnering with the Association of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS) and the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools (CAIS-CT) for a three-association cohort of new heads. This program brings new Heads from the three different associations together for monthly conversations on a leadership topic of importance in your role. This is the fourth year that ISAS has been involved with the program. Previous participants have found the sessions extremely helpful and valuable. The regular facilitated meetings allow heads in their first year to connect on a substantive topic, engage with veteran leaders, and share their personal experiences.

To ensure we provide relevant, current examples of best practices, we will be drawing from the experiences of experts in independent school leadership as well as heads of school from within our respective associations. The cost for the program is $200.
