AAL Regional Forum

ISAS and The Association for Academic Leaders are co-hosting this event at The Kinkaid School in Houston.

The Association for Academic Leaders Regional Forums are designed to provide Academic Leaders a day to learn, network, reflect, and strategize around the top issues facing schools today. This year, we will explore two topics, workshop-style:

• Ways Academic Leaders can lead their school community in using Generative AI in their work 
• How to lead with question-asking and curiosity, to help address the challenges facing schools today

The Forum will be held at The Kinkaid School in Houston on October 9, 2025. Schools are welcome to send a team of 2-3 Academic Leaders to learn alongside participants from our member schools.

This would be a great opportunity for the following groups:

• Heads of School
• Assistant/Associate Heads
• Academic Deans/Curriculum & Pedagogy Chairs
• Division Heads
• Technology Leaders (it’s a good session for Tech Directors, not so much for system admin types)

Not familiar with the Association for Academic Leaders?  In 2023, One Schoolhouse launched the Association for Academic Leaders, an association designed to support, sustain, and grow Academic Leaders at independent schools. We provide professional growth opportunities on essential topics to support the work of Academic Leaders, including curriculum audits, hiring and retaining talented teachers, and student mental health and well-being.
