Assistant Football Coach
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is seeking Assistant Football Coaches to support the Upper School football program during the fall season. This is a stipend-based, supplemental coaching position. Coaches who are hired by the school in a full-time teaching role may have opportunities for expanded, year-round involvement with the football program, consistent with their primary academic responsibilities.
Responsibilities
In-Season Responsibilities (Fall)
- Coach an assigned position group or unit during practices and competitions.
- Assist with practice planning, film breakdown, scouting, and game preparation.
- Supervise and mentor student athletes during practices, games, and team events
- Support game-day operations, logistics, and team organization.
Off-Season Responsibilities (Applies Only to Full—Time School Employees)
- Participate in offseason planning and limited player development activities as assigned
- Support program continuity and mentorship consistent with full-time school responsibilities.
Time Commitment
- Fall-season coaching responsibilities are required for all Assistant Football Coaches.
- Offseason and year-round involvement apply only to individuals hired in a full-time teaching role.
- Practices, meetings, and events may occur before or after school, evenings, and occasionally on weekends during the season.

Compensation

- Coaching stipend provided separately from any academic teaching contract
- Stipend level determined by experience, role, and Athletic Department approval
