Ann & Nate Levine Academy, an inclusive Jewish day school in Dallas, TX, seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial and relationship-driven Director of Enrollment Management to lead all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, enrollment and retention. Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Director serves as a visible ambassador of the school and a key member of the school leadership team.
The role requires strategic thinking, professionalism, warmth and a deep commitment to Jewish education. The ideal candidate thrives on connecting with people, manages complexity with ease, commits deeply to the mission of the school and enjoys working in a close-knit, creatively energetic educational environment.
Levine Academy provides a nurturing, values-based education to children from early childhood (3 months) through 8th grade emphasizing excellence in all aspects of school life. The community comprises the full spectrum of Jewish affiliations, the unaffiliated, many nationalities, and a diversity of socio-economic backgrounds.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enrollment Management
- Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment, enrollment and retention strategy with a focus on the school’s key transition years of Early Childhood to Lower School and Lower School to Middle School
- Set bold admissions and enrollment goals and develop creative and innovative recruitment and retention strategies to achieve them
- Partner closely and collaboratively with school leadership, faculty and staff to achieve admissions and enrollment goals
- Develop and implement effective and efficient processes that support all aspects of enrollment management including the tracking of admissions data, and enrollment and retention trends
- Collaborate with the Business Office to manage new student enrollment and the re-enrollment process
Admissions & Outreach
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with prospective families, current families, alumni, Jewish community partners, Jewish and independent area schools, and educational consultants
- Attend Jewish community partner events, which includes evening and Sunday events, to raise the school’s profile
- Partner closely with Early Childhood (EC) leadership to cultivate relationships with EC families and ensure a strong pipeline to K-8
- Work collaboratively with the communications and marketing team to tell the story of a Levine Academy education
- Plan and implement recruitment events and programs to build an enrollment funnel
- Lead and manage the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment and matriculation
- Oversee the onboarding process for newly enrolled families to ensure a smooth and positive transition into the Levine Academy community
Strategic Leadership
- Strive to embody the mission and values of the school and model them to others
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership and the board of trustees on enrollment trends
- Fully engage and actively participate in school events to build community ties and be able to tell the story of a Levine Academy education
- Participate in institutional strategic initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in admissions, enrollment, advancement, sales, marketing or another relationship-driven field
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of software management systems
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Bachelor’s degree required
