Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous English instruction across various grade levels.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with departmental standards and fosters 21st-century skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical discourse.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students, supporting their academic and personal development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
- Dual Credit, Advance Placement, or other classroom experience is very beneficial.
- Teacher certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in high school English instruction.
- Proficiency in Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail).
- Exceptional verbal, visual, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Houston Christian High School.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students.
