Job Overview:

The Branch School, a private PK3–8th grade school dedicated to nurturing curious minds and compassionate hearts, is seeking a Part-Time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support our mission of “Love, Learn, and Lead” through dynamic, strategic communication and market outreach.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a creative and tech-savvy marketing professional to join our team on a parttime basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, understands the digital landscape, and is passionate about education. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will help promote our school’s programs, events, and community spirit across multiple platforms to increase engagement and visibility. In addition, they will be responsible for driving increased traffic to the school’s website and generating higher levels of engagement across all digital platforms, with a focus on elevating visibility and supporting enrollment growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Branch team to grow the school’s presence on social media platforms
  • (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) with strategic analysis of metrics.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and campaign performance using Google Analytics
  • and other tools, then update website/created content to further growth.
  • Create engaging written and visual content for newsletters, website updates, and press
  • releases.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to capture stories, photos, and moments that highlight
  • The Branch School experience.
  • Support marketing efforts for admissions and fundraising campaigns.
  • Maintain consistency with school branding and messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5 years proven experience in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing
  • Proficiency in social media platform metric analysis and Google Analytics
  • Experience with email marketing, web content management, and basic graphic design
  • tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Website design skills a plus
  • Video production experience a plus
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in private schools, education, or non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a flexible and positive attitude

Position Details:

  • Part-time: Approximately 20–30 hours per week
  • Schedule flexible, with occasional in-person event coverage
  • Reports to Director of Advancement

Physical Demands:

Sometimes requires physical effort. For example, set-up of equipment or signage for events.
Position sometimes requires travel to meetings with individuals or organizations.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $30,000-$35,000
